The Mechanicville Housing Authority extends its deepest sympathies to the family, loved ones, neighbors and the entire Mechanicville community affected by the tragic loss of six lives at the John S. Moore Homes.
Because local and state law enforcement are conducting an active criminal investigation, the Authority cannot comment on specific details regarding the incident. We are cooperating fully with investigators to provide any assistance necessary.
The safety and well-being of our residents remain our highest priority. To ensure residents of the Housing Authority have the support they need, the Mechanicville Housing Authority has partnered with the Saratoga Center for the Family, Inc. Together, we are offering free, on-site, licensed mental health counselors available now through the end of August 2026.
